Jeongbang Fall, Jeju Island, South Korea. Taken winter December 2010. This is the only waterfall in Asia that falls directly to the ocean. There is an inscription in the rock next to the water fall saying “Seoubul wangcha” (seobul passing by this place) inscribed probably during BC 259-210.

Eid day 3: Bintulu, Malaysia. Taken 12th Sept 2010.

5 hours road trip from Brunei just to visit families n villages across the border; where people still live in stilt houses and electricity is generated by generators. Eid is after all once a year and they had greeted us with warm smiles.

Sunset at Kuta beach isn’t exactly how i had imagine it to be. The place was filled with hundreds of people (i am not exaggerating) it was full, noisy and you kind of forgot why you’re there amongst the hundreds. But if you just bear with the crowd a little and patiently wait for the sun to set, you’ll see the beauty. No regrets! bali again next semester holiday? ;)

We didn’t have anyplace to stay in Bandung and so our bus stopped at this place so we could sleep while waiting for Tangkuban perahu to open. Turns out this is some sort of out bound camping area near Bandung and it was packed with school kids.

The school where i had my community work at last semester holiday. Many of them were like these, they are funded by charity organizations for the poor. And there was about 40 students per class!

A castle with a tragic history. Visitors can’t take pictures inside so you’d have to visit for yourself to see.
